Nanci Vineyard has lived a life supported by work as a teacher and journalist, among many other occupations, living in the Ozark, Blue Ridge, and Adirondack mountain ranges, gathering adventures for her true calling as a raconteur.
She has been accompanied on this physical and spiritual journey by both wild and domesticated animals, too numerous to name, and a plethora of loving friends.
